Final Fantasy IV was released for a variety of video game systems. You will need emulators to play them. For example, to play the Super Nintendo version of the game, you will need a Super Nintendo emulator. You can download the necessary emulators from my emulators page. If you need assistance with any of the emulators offered on my site, check out my emulation help subsite: Video Game Emulation for Newbies.
Đang xem: Final fantasy 4
Final Fantasy II (US)
The original English version of Final Fantasy IV that was released in North America for the Super Nintendo. I actually want to discourage you from playing this version of Final Fantasy IV. The retranslations further below are far better options.
Final Fantasy IV (J)
The re-release for the WonderSwan Color. It has some slight improvements with the graphics and a dash button. Otherwise, it”s the same game. And, unfortunately, this version of the game never left Japan.
Final Fantasy IV Advance (US)
The re-release for Game Boy Advance. It includes new bosses, two new dungeons, mini-games, a bestiary, increased difficulty, and the ability to recruit additional party members near the final moments. I actually want to discourage you from playing this version of the game. The ROM hacks further below offer a GBA sound restoration hack.
Final Fantasy IV (US)
The awesome 3D remake for the Nintendo DS. New features include augment system, command menu customization, stylis-control mini-games, new game plus, bestiary and a video/music player.
Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection (US)
The awesome remake for the Sony PSP. This is a compilation consisting of enhanced ports of the role-playing video games Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, as well as a new scenario called Final Fantasy IV Interlude, which is set between the two games.
A variety of hacks have been made to give Final Fantasy IV a better, more accurate experience! What are “Pre-patched” and “Patch”? ROM hackers release their works as patches. To experience their hacks, you must apply their patch to the original game. With the “Pre-patched” download, I”ve saved you the trouble and patched the game for you. But if you insist on patching the game yourself, you can download just the patch with the “Patch” download. I have patching instructions in my patching guide.
Final Fantasy IV: Sound Restoration
This hack fully restores the music and the sound effects from the SNES original. Also, an orchestral piece, played by Tokyo”s philharmonic orchestra, is featured in the ending. If you want to patch it yourself, apply it to the Eurpoean version of GBA Final Fantasy IV (included below).
