Recent News:

So recently, PUBG Mobile had added support for 90 FPS, exclusively for OnePlus phones for a month. The OnePlus 8, the OnePlus 8 Pro, the OnePlus 7T, and the OnePlus 7 Pro are able to play at 90 FPS on smooth graphics. And if you some kind of jealous player like me, you’ll probably be searching up, “How much are these OnePlus phones?” And then you see price: Don’t even think about getting one if you’re just gonna play PUBG Mobile with it.

How to get 90 FPS in PUBG Mobile Emulator Gameloop

I thought if I can trick the game into recognizing an OnePlus device, it can give me the 90 FPS option. So I opened up BlueStacks and changed the device profile into an OnePlus 8 Pro. I opened up the game. It didn’t work. And then I tried to trick the game by giving a fake GPU and CPU info using GL Tools. But still, it didn’t work. I couldn’t think of any other way to do this so I searched it up on the internet and I found out that you actually have to modify a file in the PUBG Mobile application.

Alright, so open Gameloop. I do not have any Android devices so I’ll be using this mobile emulator. Let me show you something in PUBG Mobile real quick. Alright so I have not done any changes yet but right here in the graphics settings, I have set the frame rate to the highest, which is extreme, so the game is only going to run at a maximum of 60 frames per second.

As you guys can see on the top left corner, it is a little bit off because I’m using an emulator but 60 frames is the maximum. And we want to go past that 60 frame cap so I’m gonna exit the game first. So what you would do is open some HEX editing app (this one is commonly used by many people) and you would change the hex value of that specific file. But I cannot open any files here. I don’t know why. Probably because I’m using an emulator I really don’t know why but luckily, someone uploaded the file that was already modified. So what we can do now is we can just download the modified file and replace that file in the application So right here, I’m going to open up Browser and I’m going to paste the link.

So, this file is called Active.sav We’re gonna download it. You guys also need ES File Explorer to do this so I’ll put the link in the description below for that as well. All right so once that’s downloaded We’re gonna open ES File Explorer and we’re gonna click on Download. And this was just the file we downloaded and we’re gonna change the name. So we’re gonna change it to Active with a capital A dot sav Click on OK Now we’re gonna copy this file. Next, we’re gonna click on home.

So right here, just follow these steps carefully so you won’t get lost. We’re gonna click on Android then we’re gonna click on data and right here when you see com.Tencent.ig we’re gonna click on this then files UE4Game ShadowTrackerExtra Click on ShadowTrackerExtra again then Saved and then SaveGames. Right here if you scroll down, you’ll see this active.sav file. We’re gonna replace this file with the Active.sav file that I’ve copied.

So we’re gonna paste then we’re gonna overwrite it as we’re gonna replace it. And right there we have successfully replaced the Active.sav file. Next, we’re gonna open up PUBG Mobile and once the game boots up you’ll be able to see the game running over 60 frames per second Alright so we are actually running PUBG Mobile at 90 frames per second right now. Once again, it is a little bit off but we were able to go past that 60 frame cap and run the game a little bit smoother.

Now I want to say one more thing: Once you have replaced it the file does not mess with anything in the graphics setting. Just don’t change anything because if you do, what’s gonna happen is the game is going to reset back to 60 frames at maximum and you’re gonna have to redo everything again. So don’t mess with this.

Now if you’re playing PUBG Mobile on an emulator like me, you might actually find your frame rates to be fluctuating because you’re running an operating system in an operating system, so it’s not gonna utilize the full power of the GPU However, if you’re using an Android device, you might be getting solid frame rates so yeah If you have an Android device, you are good.

A very common question asked is, “If I change the game files, will I get banned?” And I actually do not know the answer to this question. If you’re worried, then play it in another account in case if anything happens so your main account would be safe and it wouldn’t be banned. You know, just play it with another account if you’re that worried.
